The Department of Nephrology focuses on providing students with a comprehensive understanding of the renal system, including the anatomy and physiology of the kidneys, renal diseases, dialysis treatments, and kidney transplantation. Our program combines rigorous academic learning with hands-on clinical training, ensuring that students are well-prepared to manage patients with a wide range of kidney conditions, such as chronic kidney disease, acute renal failure, nephrotic syndrome, and hypertension-related renal problems.
In addition to clinical skills, our students are taught the importance of compassionate patient care, ethical considerations, and effective communication. Students will learn how to work in multidisciplinary teams, interact with patients, and educate them on managing their kidney conditions, including lifestyle changes, medication adherence, and dialysis options.
